Marketing / Graphic Designer 

Wandering Folk is a lifestyle brand that encourages you to explore and picnic in nature. We have an exciting opportunity for a creative marketing and Graphic Design guru join our small yet growing business in our Byron Bay head office.

We are looking for a talented creative to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate our consumers. We are searching for someone that is passionate about our vision at Wandering Folk and the community we have created.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

Marketing

Social media content creation and scheduling.

Managing and updating Shopify visuals regularly

Planning and assisting with photoshoots

Managing and building the marketing calendar 

Developing effective personalised email campaigns with Klaviyo

Managing social media influencers

Finding inspiring people to feature on our Folk Tales Blog

Keeping our Pinterest up to date

 

Graphic Design

Graphic design skills for product launches & website banners

Font development for new collections

Creating visuals for digital Ads

Editing and re sizing images

Creating exciting visuals for Instagram stories

Design and layout of weekly EDMs using Klaviyo, Figma & Photoshop

 

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience (1-2 years) in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Adobe suite: Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Ideally experience in FIGMA
  • Experience in Klaviyo, email marketing program
  • Creative vision for digital product launches
  • Proven experience in Shopify and eCommerce site management.
  • Highly organized, enjoys planning and creating effective systems
  • A passion for thinking outside the box to bring fresh creative marketing ideas to the team.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ideally knowledge in scheduling app Sked
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team as well as independently 
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail
  • A friendly and professional attitude
  • Values in working towards a more sustainable future 
  • Photography skills a bonus

 

This role is part time, 4 days per week, with the potential to move into full time role.

Located in Byron Bay.

Sales Administration / Customer service, eCommerce & Wh­­olesale

Wandering Folk is a lifestyle brand that encourages you to explore and picnic in nature. We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, self-motivated, Sales and Customer service guru to join our small yet growing business in Byron Bay. Available

You will provide exceptional service to our customers, be a high performer who is seeking an opportunity to join and contribute to a purpose lead brand whilst learning the ins and outs of wholesale sales, eCommerce sales and working closely with our 3PL warehouse. We are searching for someone that is passionate about our vision at Wandering Folk and the community we have created.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

 Customer service communication 

Managing our Shopify store

Managing/releasing online and wholesale orders to our 3PL

Liaison with wholesale agent regularly

Managing wholesale orders, invoicing, admin and reporting.

Assisting with inventory planning

Returns processing through our system & with our 3PL

General office admin

Assisting customer sales in our showroom

Assist with ordering and buying 

Managing packaging stock levels

 

 Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience (1-2 years) in a similar role.
  • Strong administration skills. Experience in Excel and Xero.
  • Proven experience in managing e commerce site Shopify.
  • Passion for creating an exceptional customer service
  • Passion for creating relationships with our wholesale accounts
  • Experience in wholesale/sales administration
  • Ideally experience in Dear or Trade Gecko inventory system
  • Experience in retail, managing sales in our showroom
  • Ideally experience in buying and ordering stock
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team as well as independently 
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail
  • A friendly and professional attitude
  • Values in working towards a more sustainable future 

 

This role is full time, 5 days per week.

Located in Byron Bay.
