Wandering Folk is a lifestyle brand that encourages you to explore and picnic in nature.We have an exciting opportunity for a creative Freelance Graphic Designer to work with our small yet growing business in Byron Bay.

We are looking for a mid-weight freelance Graphic Designer to communicate our ideas using their skills and bring our visions to life to inspire our customers. We are searching for someone that is passionate about our vision at Wandering Folk, creating great quality products to be cherished for years whilst working towards a more sustainable future.

THE ROLE

- You’ll work on a range of projects, predominantly digital, using various programs to develop high-quality design within an established brand identity

- You'll like to collaborate and brainstorm with the marketing
team to bring ideas to life

- You’ll be confident using Photoshop and Canva to execute projects

- You feel comfortable uploading assets to platforms such as Klavyio and Planoly

- Able to work with both written and verbal briefs

- You will be designing all assets for a range of communications (eg. new products, promos, events, wholesale) This will include assets such as: EDMs, website and social media assets, (mostly Instagram and Pinterest), look books and print requirements

- Creating digital ads (both video and stills) from specific briefs, however confident to offer suggestions and ideas in this area

- Editing and re-sizing images

- You're in the know with the latest trends and ways to create engaging content on Instagram

- Developing designs for website, keeping with brand styling

- Packaging design

- Font development for new collections

- You're capable of occasionally creating content for socials using an iphone

ABOUT YOU

- Demonstrated experience (2+ year) in a similar role.

- Quick & Proficient in Adobe suite:
Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign

- Ideally experience in Canva

- Creative vision for digital product
launches

- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team as well as independently 

- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and
meet tight deadlines

- High attention to detail

- A friendly and professional attitude

- Values in working towards a more
sustainable future 

- Photography skills a bonus

 This is a Freelance role ~ 6 hours a week or 1 full day per week
