The Ultimate Bath Recipe For relaxation

How to create the bath of your dreams... We set this bath up outside at Rosalita’s Rest, overlooking the sun as it set over the lake… Yours can be indoors or outdoors. Just make sure to set aside enough time to truly treat yourself. Creating the perfect bath requires careful consideration of several factors to ensure the most relaxing soak.

Begin by choosing a suitable location - whether indoors or outdoors - that offers a serene atmosphere to enhance the overall experience. Select a time where you can truly indulge and prioritise self-care without interruptions.Start with Epsom salts, which are rich in magnesium that helps to relax your muscles and detoxify your skin. You can also include sliced lemons, which are natural astringents that help to tone and brighten the skin. Fresh flower heads can add a natural and delicate fragrance while also providing an aesthetic touch to the bath. Next, add a few drops of lavender essential oil, known for its soothing properties that promote relaxation and calmness. If desired, you can also incorporate your favourite crystals to further enhance the therapeutic benefits of the bath. Lastly, light up some incense or scented candles to create a peaceful and calming ambiance.

First, fill up your tub with warm water to a temperature that suits you. Next, add the Epsom salts to the water, ensuring that they dissolve evenly. Follow by pouring a few drops of lavender essential oil into the water and stirring the mixture. Then, gently place the flower heads and sliced lemons on the surface of the water. Finally, set the mood by lighting candles and dimming the lights. You can also lay out a comfortable throw or cushion to help you relax and sink into the soothing bath. Take your time to unwind and allow yourself to fully embrace the moment of tranquility.
